Research on the individual compounds in cannabis, including CBD, began in earnest during the early 20th century. In the 1940s, CBD’s chemical structure was elucidated by scientists.
This discovery paved the way for a better understanding of how cannabinoids like CBD interact with the body.

Well Hemp/CBD has been in talks in the past few days and people are beginning to realise that the wonder plant does have therapeutic and healing benefits.
The Ministry of AYUSH recently brought some relief by clarifying in the Parliament that cannabidiol (CBD), which is also present in Bhang, is not classified as a drug.
This decision deserves applause and support, as it might be a stepping stone that paves the way for a wider acceptance and exploration of CBD’s benefits without being hindered by outdated stigmas or misconceptions.
On the other hand we also had another advancement in the medical industry – The Ayush Visa!
With the launch of the Ayush Visa, foreign citizens can now access medical treatment in India through traditional Indian medicine systems, as per the new visa category initiated by the government.
Fast forward to the 21st century, CBD is now becoming a focal point for its possible contributions to various aspects of well-being. From its role in pain management and inflammation reduction to its potential as an anxiety and stress reliever, CBD’s versatility knows no bounds.
While CBD’s journey is still unfolding, its promise as a natural remedy has illuminated new paths toward holistic health. As research continues and understanding deepens, the world, especially India awaits a clearer picture of CBD’s potential to enhance our lives and usher in a new era of wellness.
Till then…Happy World CBD Day!
