Know the Component better!
With the increase in demand day after day, Cannabidiol has now been termed as the It-Medicine of the moment. As you’re aware, the cannabis plant has been used as pain relief for thousands of years. But it has only been in the last ten years that contemporary consumers and some medical professionals have started to understand its potential advantages, particularly in the form of CBD.
CBD is one of several active chemicals discovered in the Cannabis plant. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is another active component that is well-known because of its psychoactive characteristics – it is the one that makes you “high.”
Myth & Reality
Myth: CBD gets you high.
Fact: CBD improves mood, but it is not psychoactive. Despite being a key ingredient in medicinal marijuana, CBD is either synthesized in a lab or is directly taken from the hemp plant, closely related to the marijuana plant. One of the many substances found in marijuana, CBD, does not by itself provide a “high.”
Myth: A customer saying, “I took CBD for 7 days and saw no results, so it doesn't work."
Fact: Consider whether you have a condition or symptom that CBD can treat before trying it. In the first place, there was no condition they were attempting to treat. It’s the same as deciding to take a pain killer for a week even though you’re not in pain. Regular consumption is the key to accurate results!
Myth: CBD is questionable because the CBD industry is sketchy.
Fact: You need to research what products are of high quality and which ones aren’t. The same goes for what is and isn’t illegal in your state or country. Just because the product didn’t suit you, it does not make CBD questionable. There are also possibilities of the item you bought not being high quality!
Myth: A CBD gummy won't help you much.
Fact: Unless the placebo effect is in your favor, a single dose of CBD won’t be effective. If you take CBD correctly — that is, at least twice a day, morning and night — it begins to create homeostasis or balance within your body. (People who have stress and anxiety issues have seen a massive decline or it completely goes away when they take CBD on a regular basis.)
Myth: CBD Oil Is Illegal
Fact: It is not illegal if CBD is extracted from cannabis leaves. The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985 (NDPS Act) makes it illegal to use cannabis for recreational purposes. The leaves and seeds of cannabis plants, however, are not covered under the NDPS act.
Myth: There are no clinical studies on CBD.
Fact: The World Health Organization (WHO) published a thorough report in 2017 stating that CBD has “been proved as an effective treatment for epilepsy. According to the paper, there is “preliminary evidence” that CBD may be helpful for conditions such as pain, anxiety, and depression as well as conditions including cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, psychosis, multiple sclerosis, and diabetic complications.
Myth: CBD is a sham.
Fact: CBD has active compounds.Endocannabinoids, which are identical to cannabinoids found in Cannabis plants, are produced by your body. Your natural biochemicals stimulate receptors in various places of your body, causing particular reactions and improving your health.
